At Neuro Recovery Institute, our programs are designed around the individual.

Whether you live locally, are travelling to us for a more intensive period of rehabilitation, want to continue building on the progress you have already made, or are looking to maintain mobility and neurological fitness, we can help you find an approach that works for you.

All services are delivered under the clinical direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Entry into a Neuro Recovery program is subject to assessment and approval by one of NRI’s Doctors of Physical Therapy.

1. Initial Programs

1.1 Foundation 24-session neuro recovery program

Our Foundation 24-session neuro recovery program is NRI’s core program for new clients who want to make a sustained commitment to their rehabilitation.

The foundation program combines regular Outbounder ARS therapy with clinical assessment and progress monitoring, allowing our team to follow your development throughout the program rather than looking at individual therapy sessions in isolation.

The program includes:

• 24 Outbounder ARS therapy sessions (each one hour in duration)

• 3 Physical Therapy assessments: Baseline, Progress, Completion

• Weekly Client Progress Reports

• An End-of-Program Clinical Report

Clients normally attend a minimum of two sessions each week, helping to provide the consistency and repetition that are central to the NRI approach.

Foundation Program price: $5,900 (The equivalent services purchased individually would be $7,800)

1.2 Intensive 24-session neuro recovery program

The Intensive 24-session neuro recovery program is designed for clients who want to complete their 24-session program over a shorter period, with sessions scheduled at a higher frequency. Sessions can be arranged at one or two sessions per day, allowing the 24-session program to be completed within six weeks. At its most intensive, the full program can be completed over 12 clinic days, with two sessions each day.

Other than the duration of the program and frequency of Outbounder ARS sessions, the clinical content is the same as the Foundation 24-Session Neuro Recovery Program.

Note that entry to this program and the frequency of Outbounder sessions will be subject to the outcome of the Baseline Physical Therapy assessment by one of NRI’s Doctors of Physical Therapy.

Intensive Program price: $5,900 (The equivalent services purchased individually would be $7,800)

1.3 Long distance neuro recovery program

You do not need to live close to Montclair to undertake an NRI Neuro Recovery Program. Our Long Distance Program is designed for clients travelling to NRI from further away.

Before making travel arrangements, you will complete an initial remote video Physical Therapy assessment. This enables one of NRI’s Doctors of Physical Therapy to assess whether the program is appropriate for you and whether travelling to NRI is advisable.

NRI can also help clients connect with local accommodation, transportation and caregiver services. These services are arranged and paid for separately by the client and are not included in the program price.

Once you arrive, your in-person assessment and treatment program can begin.

The long distance program includes the initial remote assessment and additional pre-arrival coordination. All other aspects of the program are the same as the Intensive 24-Session Neuro Recovery Program.

Long Distance Program price: $6,400 (The equivalent services purchased individually would be $8,300)

1.4. Neuro fitness 6-session program

For some clients, the goal is not an intensive rehabilitation program but the ongoing maintenance of neurological health, mobility, balance, cardiovascular fitness and overall function.

Our Neuro Fitness Program provides regular access to Outbounder ARS exercise without a minimum weekly attendance requirement.

A baseline Physical Therapy assessment is included within the 6-session Neuro Fitness package, conducted by one of NRI’s Doctors of Physical Therapy.

The Neuro Fitness program is available across all neurological conditions served by NRI.

The program includes:

• 6 Outbounder ARS sessions (each one hour in duration)

• 1 Physical Therapy assessment: Baseline

• No minimum weekly attendance requirement

• Sessions are valid for three months from the date of purchase

Neuro Fitness Program price: $1,800 (The equivalent sessions purchased individually would be $2,000)

2. Continuation programs

Recovery does not necessarily end after the first 24 sessions. For clients who have completed the initial Neuro Recovery Program and want to continue building on their progress, NRI offers both 24-session and 12-session Follow-On Neuro Recovery Programs.

2.1. Follow-on 24-session neuro recovery program

The follow-on program provides a structured way to continue regular Outbounder ARS therapy while maintaining clinical oversight and monitoring progress over a further period of rehabilitation.

The program includes:

• 24 Outbounder ARS therapy sessions (each one hour in duration)

• 2 Physical Therapy assessments: Progress, Completion

• Weekly Client Progress Reports

• An End-of-Program Clinical Report

The follow-on program can be discussed with your clinical team towards the end of the Foundation or Intensive 24-session programs.

Follow-On 24-Session Program price: $5,700 (The equivalent services purchased individually would be $7,600)

2.2 Follow-on 12-session neuro recovery program

The follow-on program provides a structured way to continue regular Outbounder ARS therapy while maintaining clinical oversight and monitoring progress over a further period of rehabilitation.

The program includes:

• 12 Outbounder ARS therapy sessions (each one hour in duration)

• 1 Physical Therapy assessment: Completion

• Weekly Client Progress Reports

• An End-of-Program Clinical Report

The follow-on program can be discussed with your clinical team towards the end of the Foundation or Intensive 24-session programs.

Follow-On 12-Session Program price: $3,400 (The equivalent services purchased individually would be $3,800)

3. Financing your program

For all the programs described above, payments are made in full at the start of your program. However, we recognize that committing to a recovery or fitness program is also a financial decision. Flexible financing options are available through Cherry, with payments for the Foundation 24-Session Neuro Recovery Program starting from $281 per month.*

4. Individual sessions & assessments

Not everyone is ready to begin a complete program, and individual services are also available.

4.1 Physical Therapy Assessment

For all clients using the Outbounder ARS, a Baseline Physical Therapy assessment is required prior to commencing Outbounder sessions. Additional Progress or Completion assessments may also be purchased where appropriate.

Price $200 per assessment

4.2 Single Outbounder ARS Session

A single or individual Outbounder ARS session can provide an introduction to the therapy or be used where a single session is appropriate.

One or more sessions can be purchased in advance and are valid for three months from the date of purchase.

Price $300 per one hour session

5. Appointments & Cancellations

We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice. When you make an appointment with NRI, clinical time is reserved specifically for you.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are subject to a $200 cancellation fee because clinical staff and treatment time will already have been scheduled.
