NRI Client Voices

Real experiences. Real progress… in their own words

Every recovery journey is different. Here, some of our clients and their families share the changes they have experienced, from improvements in mobility and independence to the moments that make a real difference in everyday life.

Another step towards independence

“I flew down from Sacramento multiple times for this treatment, and it was worth every trip. After completing the program, I’ve seen an increase in balance, which has allowed me to walk upstairs more smoothly than previously, which translates to another step towards gaining complete independence back.

Since starting this treatment, I’ve noticed real improvements in my ability to handle everyday tasks and in gaining back my independence. I’ve also noticed that my affected hand has become noticeably looser and, while relaxed, actively opens more than it did previously. This progress gives me great hope that I’ll gain more mobility in my affected hand, hopefully allowing me to get back to work as a RN soon.”

Changes that go beyond mobility

“Recently he has been connecting with me more emotionally and asking me how I am feeling and if I am tired. A few months ago he would never have done that.

I have been doing this for 8 years now and I have never seen him like this.”
