At Neuro Recovery Institute, our programs are designed around the individual.

Whether you live locally, are travelling to us for a more intensive period of rehabilitation, want to continue building on the progress you have already made, or are looking to maintain mobility and neurological fitness, we can help you find an approach that works for you.

All services are delivered under the clinical direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Entry into a Neuro Recovery program is subject to assessment and approval by one of NRI’s Doctors of Physical Therapy.

1. 24 Session neuro recovery program

Our 24-Session Neuro Recovery Program is the standard NRI program for new clients who want to make a sustained commitment to their rehabilitation.

The program combines regular Outbounder ARS therapy with clinical assessment and progress monitoring, allowing our team to follow your development throughout the program rather than looking at individual therapy sessions in isolation.

The program includes:

• 24 Outbounder ARS therapy sessions (each of one hour duration)

• 3 Physical Therapy assessments: Baseline, Progress, Completion)

• Weekly Client Progress Reports

• An End-of-Program Clinical Report

Clients normally attend a minimum of two sessions each week, helping to provide the consistency and repetition that are central to the NRI approach.

Program price: $5,900

The equivalent services purchased individually would total $7,800.

1.1 Travelling to NRI?

You do not need to live close to Montclair to undertake the 24-Session Neuro Recovery Program.

For clients travelling from further away, we can arrange the same program around a shorter stay or series of visits to NRI.

Before making travel arrangements, you will complete an initial remote video Physical Therapy assessment. This enables one of NRI’s Doctors of Physical Therapy to assess whether the program is appropriate for you and whether travelling to NRI is advisable.

Once you arrive, your in-person assessment and treatment program can begin.

Sessions can be arranged at one or two sessions per day, allowing the 24-session program to be completed within six weeks. At its most intensive, the full program can be completed over 12 clinic days, with two sessions each day.

NRI can also help clients connect with local accommodation, transportation and caregiver services. These services are arranged and paid for separately by the client and are not included in the program price.

Program price: $6,300

2. 12 Session follow-on program

Recovery does not necessarily end after the first 24 sessions.

For clients who have completed the initial Neuro Recovery Program and want to continue building on their progress, NRI offers a 12-session Follow-On Neuro Recovery Program.

The follow-on program provides a structured way to continue regular Outbounder ARS therapy while maintaining clinical oversight and monitoring progress over a further period of rehabilitation.

The program includes:

• 12 Outbounder ARS therapy sessions (each of one hour duration)

• 2 Physical Therapy assessments: (Progress, Completion)

• Weekly Client Progress Reports

• An End-of-Program Clinical Report

The follow-on program can be discussed with your clinical team towards the end of your initial 24-session program.

3. Financing your program

All program payments are made in full at the start of your program. However we recognise that committing to a rehabilitation program is also a financial decision. Approved third-party financing options, including Cherry, may be available to eligible clients.

For example for the $5,900 Neuro Recovery Program, the current illustrative monthly payment is approximately $281 per month, based on a 24-month term.

Actual monthly payments, interest rates, fees and repayment terms are determined solely by the financing provider and will be confirmed as part of each individual financing application.

Financing is provided by third parties and is subject to approval.

4. Individual sessions & assessments

Not everyone is ready to begin a complete program, and individual services are also available.

4.1 Individual Outbounder ARS session

An individual Outbounder ARS therapy session can provide an introduction to the therapy or be used where a single session is appropriate.

$300 per session (one hour duration)

Individual sessions are valid for three months from the date of purchase.

4.2 Physical therapy assessment

Additional Physical Therapy assessments are available when clinically indicated or requested.

$200 per assessment

4.3 Neuro fitness

For some clients, the goal is not an intensive rehabilitation program but the ongoing maintenance of neurological health, mobility, balance, cardiovascular fitness and overall function.

Our Neuro Fitness Program provides regular access to Outbounder ARS exercise without a minimum weekly attendance requirement.

Neuro Fitness is available across the neurological conditions served by NRI.

Five-session neuro fitness program

The Neuro Fitness package includes:

• 5 Outbounder ARS sessions (each of one hour duration)

• No minimum weekly attendance requirement

• Sessions valid for three months from the date of purchase

Program price: $1,350

The equivalent sessions purchased individually would total $1,500.

Individual neuro fitness session

Individual Neuro Fitness sessions are also available.

$300 per session (one hour duration)

Sessions are valid for three months from the date of purchase.

4.4 Physical therapy assessment

A Physical Therapy assessment can be provided for Neuro Fitness clients when clinically indicated or requested.

$200 per assessment

The assessment is not included within the five-session Neuro Fitness package.

5. Appointments & Cancellations

We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice as when you make an appointment with NRI, clinical time is reserved specifically for you.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be subject to a cancellation fee, as clinical staff and treatment time will already have been scheduled.
