A new approach to Parkinson’s rehabilitation
Parkinson’s rehabilitation that keeps you engaged
Parkinson’s can affect balance, movement, posture and confidence, making everyday activities increasingly challenging.
The Outbounder combines supported full-body movement with immersive virtual activities and real-time feedback. Each session is adapted to the individual, helping clients practise purposeful movements in a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment.
We have already seen encouraging progress at NRI. One client living with Parkinson’s improved their Berg Balance Scale score by 11 points after 10 Outbounder sessions over five weeks. This is the result of one individual and outcomes will vary, but it demonstrates the kind of meaningful change that careful assessment, regular participation and engaging rehabilitation may help support.
Our aim is simple: to help each person explore what they can still achieve and work towards greater mobility, confidence and independence.
